Gluten Free Low Carb Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Link to recipe at the bottom!
I dont have a gluten allergy but I do try to cut down on carbs which is why I wanted to try out this cauliflower pizza crust I've been hearing about. I scoured the internet for recipes and got the general idea of the basic ingredients. I was surprised to not find any recipes that added fresh herbs or any other healthy ingredients so I decided to get experimental in my kitchen and luckily the first try was a hit!

My bf, a confirmed carb-aphobe, was very skeptical at first but just one bite and we were both hooked! This crust is light, spongey and unbelievably tasty. I now prefer it over the real stuff, no joke. I also loved that I didn't feel bloated and depressed after scarfing down 4 big slices. I felt really good and satisfied without guilt. So give it a try, and remember, this dough is actually easier to make than traditional pizza dough. It's a winner all around!

Low fat, very satisfying and just sweet enough. Plus you get your fill of vitamins, minerals, omegas and fiber! This is definitely a muffin that you can start your day off right with.

Semi-Healthy Banana Pancetta Pancakes

After a Saturday morning spent hardcore studying I needed some serious fuel. I like to treat myself on the weekends so pancakes came to mind. When I make pancakes I never just go for plain and boring. I see whats in the cupboards or fridge and add that to the batter! Today was my first attempt at adding a savory ingredient, pancetta, and man oh man was it a delicious experiment!

The sweet and savory flavors complement each other very well and since pancakes aren't the healthiest of breakfast foods, I made sure to add a little extra healthy sustenance like flax seed, banana, and whole wheat. Hope you love em' as much as we did!
